Montego Bay – the perfect escape.  I have stayed at the Grand Palladium in Montego Bay on more than one occasion.  Everyone is so friendly and helpful.  The property is so big that you can get right in the middle of the fun at the volleyball court or drinks at the swim up bar, or have some quality “me” time on the beach at one of the quiet coves.  Click for a hotel review or food review at the Grand Palladium – you won’t be disappointed!

Margaritaville in Negril.  Great day out.  Jimmy Buffet – eat your heart out!  An Afternoon in Negril.

Caribbean vacation

Mexico – Mayakoba in the Mayan Riviera – a lush paradise on a stunning resort.  Photo taken on a complimentary canal tour through the nature reserve.  Welcome to Mayakoba!

Mexico vacation

More from Mexico….climbing the Mayan ruins at Chitzen Itza.

Montreal.  Montreal is such a cosmopolitan city.  Has a real European feel – wander through the old part of town, enjoying the many cafes, or wander through the shopping district with Canadian designers and fashion forward shopping!  September brings the ProTour for cycling to town.  Watch the men as they race the tough circuit up and down Mount Royal.

Bike racing

Manly Australia.  For those travelling to Australia, Manly Beach needs no introduction.  One of the famous beaches along the Australian coast – summers are exceptionally busy times as tourists and locals alike flock to the beach and cafes along the Manly Corso.  For more information, visit: Live the Photo: Manly Beach, Australia.

Closer to home….when I am not travelling, I love to get out to kayak at Meech Lake.  A refuge from the crazy of the day….sit back on the quiet water, listen to the loons and watch the sun set!  Bliss.

kayaking

Happy travels.
