Welcome to the first day of winter….December 21st and Mother Nature delivered!
I could hardly contain my excitement as I bundled up and head out into the snow!
Like so many times before, walking along the NCC paths in Ottawa…(more photos from different seasons: WordPress Challenge: Today, A day on foot: walking Ottawa’s Greenbelt)
It was absolutely gorgeous out there!
From the garden….funny how much difference a day makes!
Happy snow day!

It’s beautiful, isn’t it?! I love that first image, Anita.
It was gorgeous out there! So hard to decide, but I think that first is my favourite too! Had it in horizontal as well… but the vertical really worked.
particularly like that beautiful first image..
Thanks Helen. It was such a magical morning out…love this time of year!
nice work – love the snow! it is -30C here in Calgary with the windchill, so I will leave the wandering outside to you today!
Yikes!!! We are having a blissful -7 for the next week! I see loads of skiing in the very near future! New snow shoes to try out too! Love this time of year.
Thats why you’re a real Canadian and I’m a fake one
I like looking at snow and perhaps taking pictures of it… but to truly enjoy it… I’m a lifetime away from that
hahaha
That is just because Mississauga doesn’t give a great winter wonderland like Ottawa! Make you a deal…tour guide for tour guide!!!
